The integra forums is hard to read with all the rampant rumors. In the end we all have a good idea what the outcome will be for honda/acura until electrification.

Now that ive seen a lot xi sedans i cant help but see it like a car designed from the mid 2000s. Idk why. Too soft and conservative for me i suppose. im sure they will sell well.

resell value is irrelevant in todays market. ive seen mitsubishi cars with adm on them. who buys a mitsu these days let alone with a mark up. my opinion of these two cars is if you want a fuel efficient beater get the SI, if you want to mod and go ham id get the wrx. my two pennies.

Being in NYC for Christmas weekend i see a lot of 11gen sedans. Really like how they look now when driving next to the 10 gen sedans. 11 and 10 gens everywhere here. Lol

the smart money is to wait on the mid cycle refresh and then buy the SI. i bet they will add all they took away and perhaps add SI bespoke wheels to keep the sales coming. but, i do understand people wanting to be first in ownership of a new car...

if(highly likely) the base wrx is the same or very close to the price as the SI, i would find myself in a quandary. would have to test drive both before buying. with that being said, the civic will age better, since its a very conservative design approach.

Gr86/brz for driver goodness and faster stock. New SI if you got kids(or you taxi friends) and require good mpg. Imo

well honda stated 0.26 coefficient of drag for the fk8. wonder if the new one will be as slippery as the old.

i only bring it up because of the new SI lack luster performance despite having more power.

im curious how it performs next to the fk8 since they are benchmarking it. either its impressive that they didnt benchmark something else, showing how good the fk8 is, or they are checking to make sure its at least faster than the old one.
