You have a point, that the Tesla is a far higher quality car than the Honda. 6 trips to the dealership with major powertrain + tech malfunctions will do it for me on the Civic. Electric is the future, and Honda’s got some catching up to do!

Startup still takes time, as it does with most computers. But if lag & video artifacts continue past a minute or two, the quick CarPlay restart has helped a ton. Hopefully Honda fixes this for good, or I'm going Tesla.

Someone messed up the way the car's computers are linked (hint: they're in serial). Solution: hit the home button, then enter back into CarPlay! Reboot reloads the CarPlay instance, which solves most video artifacts after a few minutes of CPU module warmup.

All of the interior lighting except for the interior trunk light are LED- you are correct. I can't confirm, but it may be possible to swap out that light for something LED if you wanted to. I did that with my interior lighting in a previous Civic.
