I appreciate all the links, and like you said yes it was Takata who made bad airbags, did you know the latest issues with the DCT/high pressure oil pump on the Theta II also come from a 3rd party vendor? The fact remains as much as I love Honda, they had the largest recall in automotive history...
LOL well my car is driveable. Dude I love Hondas and have owned them for the past 15 years but you're delusional if you think the past decade was flawless for Honda, and despite Hyundais having some issues it was Honda airbags that killed people.
I wound up getting an Elantra N. To me, it feels a lot like the FK8 and it has the added bonus of a dope exhaust, heated seats, and a pretty incredible dash/infotainment system. I get that the looks are divisive but the car is fun as hell to drive.
Here's the blazing orange that sold on Dec. 30. It was the only Si I could find for the entire state. I'm just curious why NJ specifically isn't getting vehicles, while other states are loaded. It can't all be sales volume, NJ is the most densely populated state but IDK.
I was tracking a blazing orange arriving in NJ a few days ago. It was showing as the only Si available in the state. Dealer said it was unclaimed but someone beat me to the punch. I'm seeing the same thing with the Elantra N, every state is receiving a ton, according to inventory NJ is getting...
The time to have so much equity in cars is going to shift, you can already see it in the market. Dealers were paying premiums for used cars a month ago, now they're back to lowball tactics. You might have missed your chance.
For whatever reason the 11th gen design is growing on me. I've noticed things in person that I like about the 11th gen, and I do get asked a lot about the fake vents on my 10th gen to the point where I just have to shrug and say "I know." I thought I wouldn't like the colors too, but I really...
I know this shouldn't be a huge surprise, but I was told today to expect a 3k-6k markup on a '22 SI for the first half of 2022 because of the limited inventory. Obviously this will fluctuate from dealer to dealer, but this was from one that's been pretty reputable and upfront about pricing. They...
I guess in Honda's defense they're making cars in colors people are buying. Everything on the road is black, white, and silver because that's what so many people want. I can sympathize - I love the blazing orange on the SI but I'm hesitant, because in my last orange car I got pulled over all the...
