    Cvt has its advantages and downfalls but overall fun imo. I have 109k miles and it's been tuned since 83k, I'm not saying they won't break but if you deliberately thrash it, then it will break. I haven't had any problems with mine. I've maybe brake boosted like 2-3 times it's fun but has bad...

    Don't do it repeatedly though it and don't do it until your trans temps are at normal operating temperature, like 160-175. It's not the overall torque that breaks cvt's it's the delivery of tq and sudden ramp in temperatures. And with brake boosting in cvt don't immediately slam it to the floor...

    Hold it to Try 1800 rpm with 13psi in first gr with boost by gear
