I have the exact same rattle, took apart the dashboard once so far, no solutions yet
Only happens in cold weather, goes away after 30 min of driving or if it's warm out
Going to take apart the dash again in a few weeks and try again
Drove my car on 1.5R map 3 for 17000km pretty aggressively, I noticed some slip but it didn't seem too bad, once I switched to the rv6 retro flywheel + stage 0 clutch I realized how much the car was actually slipping, the car pulls much harder in 2nd/3rd gear now
I think at the very least you...
Just went from oem fluid to amsoil at 17000km, shifts much better in cold weather/cold start, it's close to freezing at night where I am these days and it feels like butter
Don’t go 80%+ throttle at 3k rpm, downshift or roll into the throttle so by the time you are 80-100% throttle you are past 4k rpm
Car must be driven a bit differently on the stock clutch, once you change the clutch then go wild lol
On the stock tune watch the rpm when you push the clutch pedal in, it will hold current rpm for 1 second before it begins to drop, that is the artificial software induced rev hang to reduce vehicle emissions, after you put rev hang disable tune on and press clutch in the rpm will begin to drop...
I think stock supposed to be 16psi in certain conditions, I only ever saw 14 tho, there is a big difference between ktuner 23 and map 3 on phearable, map 2 and ktuner will be a smaller difference but i’d still take phearable over the basemap, the basemaps are specifically made to be on the safer...
80% of my driving is highway driving and I usually use cruise control, lane assist is greatly improved in my 2022 vs my previous 2020 hatchback, the adaptive car sensing feels the same didn’t have any issues with both, i did have many situations in the winter where my 2020 wouldn’t work after...
I did the cable bushings only, the rest of the stock shifter feels really good to me, if you end up doing the base bushing please let us know your thoughts!
Installed a few days ago on mine, noticeable improvement over stock, do it for sure, for me the biggest difference was 3rd to 2nd downshift is more smooth/direct
Clutch on the 10th gen way extremely hit or miss, some people went full bolt on for years without slip and some people slipped with the ktuner basemap, 2022 si is too new to know fully but likely will be the same situation
Only thing you can do to reduce chance of slip is try not to go full...
Agreed, nothing too special about the current si colours, ended up with my first black car because I just couldn’t choose and decided to go “neutral”
If you just want low maintenance then white/sonic grey would be best to just rip through the touchless wash here and there
Black definitely...
