You are using bolts that aren't designed for those plugs. The Mugen are fine thread, our car requires a coarse thread.
I bought several Ti bolts like these which are the correct thread to use...
Are you using coarse thread screws? Those should work unless you got all crazy and hogged out the plastic insert thingies, it doesn't look like it.
You want self tapping screws size M5x15. If you are using a fine thread/machine screw then yes, those plastic OEM things are easily stripped.
Still got the roll of mesh, are you going to go to the Acura Honda Classic meetup at Sawgrass April 14th? If so I can definitely bring it then, otherwise I'm sure we could figure something out - it's just taking up space in my house :)
Still on the original tires? I only got about 12k out of a set on my ND Miata but I gather the R gets more typically. I'm at 6k and wear seems pretty minimal so far.
As mentioned, seems hit or miss. I have a set of the CCarbon/JSWAN door sill covers and they look good - but they are also a dead simple piece. It seems like for the more complex shape of the center console you need to spend more and go with a higher end vendor.
Realized I had posted about this in the wrong thread :D Trey, the codec stuff was in the dev menus.
Waze worked perfectly now that I've disabled Honda Nav! I did a 200 mile trip (each way) this weekend and had no issue with the display pixelating. Highly recommend doing this along with...
Disabled the Honda Nav in preparation for a trip tomorrow where I'd like to run Waze. I noticed in the dev menus that there were ways to force the audio codec, enable additional ones, etc
Yeah, I wish I had been a little more patient and got it PERFECT but... no one's looking down there really so it's "all good". I tried Tuxmats but they were just too much for me, too much work to pull out for cleaning and the clutch pedal felt sticky since it would touch it at full press...

Yep, Waze problems - hadn't thought of turning off the in-car nav which I don't use... otherwise smooth sailing with wireless iPhone (14 & 15).
I do wish I could set it to default to the Now Playing tile.
@VLJ well put. I'd also note that the TC systems are pretty darn lenient in this car and, to me, not annoying at all. I can still spin the tires on launch or through a corner, I've only felt power cut twice so far even in the wet. I'm used to slamming that button OFF in my wife's Si because...
Unplugging the module takes 30mins tops, most of it is refitting the glovebox. There is zero affect on anything other than your ears. I am at about 3.5k miles with mine disconnected. Highly recommended.
Joker or other tuners could verify but I'm 99% sure that the +R engine setting and +R...
That's not me - I did not use a ring or Kicker driver, I trimmed a Rockford driver's mounting ear down. It sounds like 5% better than stock? Total waste. I think a cheaper driver might do better and certainly would have been less money down the drain.
