I agree the situation is far from ideal

I am still working on that, likely will be something resembling a steel braided brake line.

AST 5300 3 ways w/ the reservoirs all mounted up
  4. Full-Race High Pressure Fuel Line replacement

As far as I understand, Nostrum are now on their third revision of the line. To give you all my story, I also experienced the same failure as @scuderia_miso on the V2 line. Cracked at the brazing between the tube and the ferrule at the fuel rail side. This happened at last year's WTAC shootout...

Massive 2.4kg (~5.3lbs) of weight saved per rear corner going from the divorced set up to true coil over strut.
  6. How aero is the FL5 really is? And why you should probably not remove the wang

The results and lift coefficient that the video has derived here tells me that the model or methodology is inaccurate since the Honda themselves document that the vehicle produces 90kg of total downforce at 200kph. I suspect there's a lot of missing flow from a lack of underfloor detailing in...

OEM rear B arm replaced with custom tubular adjustable style, since I'm moving on to a coilover set up and no longer run a divorced spring. ~750 gram saving per arm.

RSR/TCR style rear sway bar system fabbed up and installed. Can now do easier/quicker rear roll stiffness adjustments at the track, with a wider adjustment window than on a bar in the OEM location. Many hours of measuring, cutting and swearing but the adjustability should be worth it.

Eibach rear lower A arms are nearly half the weight of the Hardrace version. Since I don't need the adjustability of the a arm at this stage (adjusting from the b arm for now), I'll fit the Eibach πŸ‘

Closed cell is working for me. It's not of a flame retardant type but if you can get your hands on some it would be an ideal choice.

Yes, the area just after the apex of the bonnet (the major curve from the bumper to the top of the bonnet) receives the lowest pressure. This is the ideal location to position the hood exit vent. I have not cut the secondary skin of the bonnet directly under the vent since it's positioned over...

Ordered through my local Alcon supplier who gets the adaptors and hats made overseas to suit the specific application. Yet to track test them as I'm still waiting on endless pads that are on back order until next year so I have no info on the seal longevity but a lot of the local time attack...
