The last month I've seen the Android Auto performance degrade. Slower to boot up as I drive off and lately sometimes when I start the car it acts as if it's connected, but just shows a black screen forever and doesn't play the audio. The phone in those scenarios doesn't show any android auto...
The UK manual for the FL5 Type R recommends 10-w30 or 5w30 if you switch to non-Honda oil manufacturers. I would imagine that the 0w is mostly critical for winter time temperatures, so if you run heavier cold start oil in warmer temperatures it should be equivalent or atleast not have a...
It still is an issue, just takes a bit longer to manifest and maybe not as severe as the FK8. I haven't tried removing the vents myself yet, not sure how much it will help but it can't hurt.
Here's an older post showing off the Super Taikyu hood https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/fl5-type-r-makes-pro-racing-debut-at-final-round-of-super-taikyu-series.51276/post-843798
I had the car connected to both a wifi hotspot and a phone hotspot but neither resolved it. I think because in this case it's looking for data from the phone directly and I had no locations saved there yet.
I've not been successful yet either but I tried it this weekend at the track and learned a few things.
You need to "start datalogging" which is separate from having logR open, it won't let you do that until the car has reached operational temperatures. Then in order to have the datalogging work...
First time was after it stalled. The last two times it has come on on it's own.
I dropped it off at the dealership, hopefully they can fix whatever is causing it.
Hi,
It's fucking cold here in Colorado, single digit F, and I've had some very weird issues. Today after taking off the car shortly after it was started throws all the electrical errors (no assisted cruise control, no brake assist, no lane change etc) and emissions issue/rev match turned off...
Speaking of oil changes. Does anyone have the parts numbers for the oil filter and drain plug and washer? Is it still the same as the FK8? Hondapartsnow does not have the 2023 model in their website yet.

That's the ones I got. +42 with the Raijin's seems to work really nicely. I'm in your area I think if you wanna check it out.
I got the Michelin Pilot Alpin 4 at 235/40/r18 on 18 x8 rims. Same rims as
notthatlargo.
Had to drive through the storm this week and it handled it pretty well.
I imagine you could probably mount it or slide the bracket more to the side as well to free up some air flow. Or is this as far out as you could get it?
But this dealership is holding a raffle on this particular VIN number, atleast last time I spoke to them. So it shouldn't be sold yet.
I'm just trying to get an idea what the time frame is for the mid west, CO/Kansas etc. It's a little frustrating to the cars for the East Coast past these...
