As others said, the procedure you wrote down is the way to go. Highly, highly recommend a pressure bleeder (using the dry method which is constantly toppin off the reservoir vs loading the bleeder bottle with fluid) or using vacuum bleeder. Get at least 1500ml of brake fluid at the ready. Once u...
Congrats on the R, itās an amazingly fun car. Over a year later and still loving mine.
Youāre right about the C7 Vette vs. the R. The R is much more fun between the speeds 0-100mph.
Have a 2019 C7 Corvette. Slight engine rattle at 1200 miles turned out to be bad wrist pin. A month or so later a new engine was fitted and car has been amazing ever since. This stuff happens. Warranty is a wonderful thing.
I considered the CT4V Blackwing as well before the Type R purchase. I had a lot of experiences with cars 3600lb and over so wanted to try the much lighter Type R. So glad I did because the R is a ball of fun at 80mph and below and I just know the CT4V wonāt be much fun until 100+
My C7...
Fuse out for several thousand miles and various weather conditions with no Iāll effects. I like the consistency in exhaust sound by just having the valve open all the time.
Itās such a great car. I wish every car enthusiast could get a shot to drive It enthusiastically. The car comes alive at only 6/10ās, itās a bunch of fun on the streets. Donāt need to drive ādirectly to jailā speeds to have fun in it.
Ah, I see the issue as you noted. I have the previous generation SLX and the reach was 60ā, so for me it is a tight fit. Link for the specs on mine is below for reference:

At 66ā there should be zero issues. Thanks for pointing that out.
Yep, you put about 1ā on both front and rear jacking blocks. Itās tight, but it works. Check if they have extensions available, itāll make setup less precise.
I had to use the 66ā reach otherwise it wouldnāt work with my other cars.
Iāll be installing the HEL kit in about a month. Any tips about taking off the front bumper cover? Like any hidden fasteners that can break or aggravation u encountered that can be avoided with proper planning? Or maybe itās typical Honda easy?
Thanks
5000 here as well. If you can get the extensions then do so. It fits on the 5000 but lining them up is important if u donāt have the extensions. I put a larger part of the lift block on the front car pinch weld (rolled piece of metal jacking point) than the rear since the car is nose heavy.
I too have the DWS06 all seasons. Amazing all season tire. I prefer these over the stock Michelin Pilot 4S summer tire that this car came stock with. I have run many tire brands and by far my favorite all season brand. Will never go back to anything else
