Theoretically, no, they can't ask for more than msrp. But there is so much room to get around this rule. They can request a trade in, finance or lease only, drive the car around and say its used car now.
You can easily get one, donāt worry!
you can join fb group FL5 Aus, āKelvin Gooā have a lot of info from Honda Aus and Iām sure he can get you one!
I met a guy who walked in to the dealer and picked up his 25 Type R for msrp + $2500.
we are getting closer to msrp deal! If youāre still waiting, donāt pay too much!
No offense, you probably have the same name as one of the Chinese guy i know.
He located in Vancouver and he has a 2023 Grey fl5, sold it to acura, get another 2024 white fl5, sold it to Vancouver Honda.
His Facebook name is the exact same as you.
If it isn't you, then I'm very sorry!
Sound like the dealer already know theyāve one incoming soon! Thatās why they wanted to see if his finance go thru.
But they didnāt mention the price is a red flag
They probably are undecided on the mark up or what extra stuff to addā¦
There are quite a lot of 2023 & 2024 type r for sell in Bc and theyāre asking for 59-69k.
I can see dealer keep lowering their price, there is one 2024 asking 65k and now lowered to 59k and still available.
The car is not brand new though, someone drove 5k km on it.
There are quite a few type R sitting here for a couple months and still sellingā¦ā¦.
I think the HYPE is gone, and those dealer keep lowering the price.
You probably will get one for straight msrp when more 25 type r arrive!
