Sound like the dealer already know they’ve one incoming soon! That’s why they wanted to see if his finance go thru. But they didn’t mention the price is a red flag They probably are undecided on the mark up or what extra stuff to add…

There are quite a lot of 2023 & 2024 type r for sell in Bc and they’re asking for 59-69k. I can see dealer keep lowering their price, there is one 2024 asking 65k and now lowered to 59k and still available. The car is not brand new though, someone drove 5k km on it.

There are quite a few type R sitting here for a couple months and still selling……. I think the HYPE is gone, and those dealer keep lowering the price. You probably will get one for straight msrp when more 25 type r arrive!
