You are correct in that term, for the vin being the accurate rep of an early build. Honda may have perhaps shuffled the badge numbers as it was coming out of the factory to not coincide with the Vin # . This method could of prevented certain buyers that would pick certain #'s that they would...

Was over at the Weather Tech factory in Bolingbrook, IL last weekend. Sales guy told me the high mat floor liner for the 2023 Honda Civic Si will probably fit. Type R floor mats still in development. Rolled the dice and bought the Si floor mat and it worked.

Car # 434 checking in. Officially took delivery last Friday morning. This is the longest wait ever, worse than the DMV. Flat bedded her home, didn't want it to get all salty. Did an all nighter cleaning her up. Of course it is snowing again, good thing my garage is set up to wash a car...
