There may be a couple hundred used for sale but I doubt any need to be sold. Classified section and FB is free, CL and cargurus is around 5 bucks to list. Mines been "for sale" for months. Ever since carmax/vroom have been paying crazy amounts there's really no way to buy a car at a great...
It was the 5th and final year of the FK8 so probably the last year of the FL5. At least forged wheels, maybe rear seat delete, factory tune. And 1 off color.
Not in any of those quotes, maybe thats my issue. I'm only going to drive it May-October and then probably just a few nice weekends during those 6 months. I'll try and see if I can get certain dates put in to the policy.
Got a quote from Hagerty for 1300 for the year, with a value of 55k. My existing insurance with Safeco wants 740 for the year. I'm only going to being driving 1k miles a year so was hoping it would be less. Liberty mutual was around 1300 for the year. I'm going to call a few more.
I don't know about the wheels he chose in the video, I think there called flow form. Not sure how those compare to a forged set. I'm guessing forged is lighter but not sure on strength.
But he is running 265/40/r18 which should give you a smoother ride and a better chance with a pot hole...
Type S looks great but I think I prefer the honda looks. But if the type S cost less I'd buy that over the honda. I don't care for any of the extra tech or interior upgrades on the type S. Heck if I could I'd get a GRC interior in the type R and save 5k-10k off the MSRP I would. And my guess...
Thanks all, exactly the info I'm looking for, that 8th gen europe only hatch looks awesome.
I'll just start searching around for one and go test drive a few. Does the 6th gen through 9th gen all redline around 8k?
I'm going to try and keep my Fl5 near mint with low miles. So I would like to get an older civic maybe prelude or accord. Any advice on which year or model? Would like to try one of those high revving engines I'm always hearing about. Just not sure what specific model it would be. Thinking...
46.7k, Msrp was just under 45k. 1k ADM but then 400 or 500 processing fee, and another couple hundred in other fees. I hate ADM and believe I'm in idiot for paying it. I'm sure I'll be pissed once these can easliy be had for MSRP.
Got my car home and parked until the roads get cleaned up. All the reviews seem to be right. Car is way over my talent level. The only issue I have is the shifter location, it feels like it's up on a shelf to me. I'm used to driving manual jeeps/trucks. And my old cars saab 900spg...
