Just came across a local seller with a 2017 that only has 2300 miles on it. Clean carfax and they are asking 40 even for it. It has been in his garage for the majority of its time. I’ll do some digging myself as well, but are there reasons for/against the earlier model years?

Take this with a grain of salt, but I just spoke to a dealer here on the East Coast and they said that there was a "major logistics issue" and as a result, East Coast deliveries have been pushed until Q1 2023.

I've actually turned my attention to this as well. There are a ton of super low mileage FK8s in my area. Just need to find with PPF already installed ;)

Yep, I have an offer on the table right now for the M2 at MSRP with March delivery. I already have an MYP, so I really wasn't looking to spend another 60-70k on my 2nd car, but not sure I can justify a CTR at near M2 prices.

Thanks for all of the responses thus far! Yeah like some have suggested, the markup/wait times just have me a bit rattled. I can order a brand new M2 at MSRP through my BMW connection and that would probably cost around the same as these marked up CTRs.

I've considered it, but I have two little ones, so having a backseat option is nice. I may have to revisit the 86 though since it has at least some semblance of a back seat.

Yep.. Honda has not stated that this will be a limited production vehicle in any way shape or form. If they want to make 100k of them, they will.

Called Piazza Honda the other day to get some info and they said that they will be selling these for 35k over MSRP 😂o_O Totally agree. Honda will make as many of these as they can sell. It may take some time, but they WILL be widely available at MSRP at some point.
