  1. TYPE S ADS INSTALL - THE EASY WAY

@PointByPatrol you are a legend for this video. That was hilarious and educational. I removed my entire back seat last time and almost broke the bolt. This is much better. Thank you.
  2. Worm Gear Recall Fix Reviews

Thank you for this comment. I had the recall done and when I hold at 3 or 9 o clock I feel the wheel twitch and kind of stick similar to what you said. What do you think Honda would do next to fix it? Thanks again.
  3. Worm Gear Recall Fix Reviews

I had the recall done last weekend and so far it’s going good. The dealer said they don’t have to drop the subframe, and all their master techs are trained to do the recall so I took the chance with it. It took 40 mins. Last winter I had sticky steering in cold temps and it bothered me. I...
  4. This '22 sport touring owner tested a '25 hatch hybrid....

@wilbur_the_goose thank you for the review. I may have to get one of the last 1.5t myself.
  5. Has anyone experienced "sticky steering" with their 2023 Civic Type R?

Mine is the same - now that it’s warm out i don’t notice it. I’ll see this winter if it happens again. The dealer told me to bring it in anytime I just haven’t yet. Will do soon if it comes back.
  6. Has anyone experienced "sticky steering" with their 2023 Civic Type R?

Hi - did the dealer fix the issue? I have the same problem in my 23 type r.
  7. Has anyone experienced "sticky steering" with their 2023 Civic Type R?

I have a 23 type r and have this issue. It seems to start after driving on the highway or longer timeframes. It’s very annoying. I’m going to bring it to Honda and see, but it’s going to be hard to produce the issue for dealer.
  8. 255 35 R19 Yokohama Advan A052 (OEM Wheels and Height)

How do you like that tire setup? Do you notice any speedo errors?
  9. 255 35 R19 Yokohama Advan A052 (OEM Wheels and Height)

Thanks for sharing. I thought about running this tire size. I wish I could try this in all season.
  10. ITS ADS Module Availability

Did you have any issues putting that 10m bolt in under the back seat? I swear it would not go in for me and I had to use a lot of force and feel like I stripped it in there. Tia.
  11. CW FL5 Civic Type R w/ Integra Type S Wheels

@CTR good to hear. I’m on stock 19s. I realized the wind was 18 mpg that day so I think that was aiding it. Also one of the front tires had 45psi and the rest had 35 so I fixed that. They feel good. Very happy.
  12. CW FL5 Civic Type R w/ Integra Type S Wheels

@CTR I swapped to the DWS06 tires as well and I’m really happy. I echo your comments- the grip is fantastic and much better road noise. Thank you for giving me the idea. one thing - did you notice the car doesn’t track as straight as the stock ps4s setup? When I let go of the steering...
  13. Cheap Wheels Thread

I’m curious to hear your thoughts on that tire size. I was going to do the same but last minute went with DWS06 plus on stock tire size 265/30/19. I’m happy so far - less road noise, little softer, and great wet traction.
  14. CW FL5 Civic Type R w/ Integra Type S Wheels

@CTR did you do an alignment when switching wheels? I called Honda to do a similar setup as you and they said they do an alignment. I don’t know if I want them to if it changes when I go back to stock. The car is perfect now and I could picture them messing it up for when I switch back to...
  15. CW FL5 Civic Type R w/ Integra Type S Wheels

Are you happy with your Michelins? I was thinking of doing the same with 35 sidewall. Thanks.
  16. Whats your other car in addition to your CTR?

I’ve been looking at GX so have to ask if you are overall happy with your GX 460? I was thinking of trading my Acura RDX in for one. Does it handle good on the highway - long trips?
  17. Waste Gate Rattle Noise

Mine is the same. I thought I had a rock stuck in the rotor at first.
  18. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

@Rhorn the steering was a minor thing I was nit picking. Felt about 9/10 as good so just minor/subjective thought I had.
  19. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

Got ya. Good comment on the 30 vs 35 sidewalls. The biggest thing with me is ITS comfort mode is great, but sometimes I want more dampening when taking fast on/off ramps and when I switched to Sport it kind of has a mildly weird bounce to it. Let me say it is NOT the exact same as stock...
  20. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

@urbo73 I’m looking forward to your review! I tend to agree with @CTR - it might feel too soft. It’s going to feel like the best daily driver ever at first, but then you might get too comfy and want that edgy crazy type R back. Lol keep us posted.
