I successfully used the fk8 trunk tray and swapped out the stock fl5 one. It needs maybe another inch or two of foam risers but it works well

Without the wing I think the car becomes unbalanced with a lot of the focus lower down on the car. That is one reason I didn't like the treatment on the DE5, it looks like wedge shape vs a a nicer flowing design of the FL5. I prefer the wing
