Good to know. I have the ITS module on order. I have not tracked my FL5 yet but I keep mine in comfort all the time. Maybe sport, but as we all know Type R on the street will rattle your teeth out.
Do these support the active suspension settings or do you lose it?
I have the those shocks on my 1993 RX7 and I actually have them 5-7 clicks from full soft for track days. This came after working with a RX7 suspension guru. I used to think having them closer to full hard was better, but when...
the USDM, the parking sensors were saved for the Integra Type S. I assume for the FL5, you'd need to get new bumpers, the sensors, and then likely have the functionality coded to your ECU. My guess is honda likely has the code embedded. It's probably just feature locked.
FYI Leith Honda in Cary and Raleigh sell at MSRP to local residents. I got my BB FL5 back in October for MSRP with zero add ons. Was on the waiting list for months but have since heard the waiting list was gone. They had like 50+ people on it but apparently the list was so long when the dealer...
Depends. Are you worth suing. If the answer is yes, people are going to come take what they think you owe them. Don’t wanna be sued? Be poor. 🤷♂️🤦🏻♂️😂
Thanks for providing your professional insights! Maybe the better use case is that someone else's kid is in the "new" 3rd seat and they are injured or worse in an accident. From what you said, you could be at more risk of being sued because you put a kid in a car seat in a third seat that Honda...
Good to know. Right now my "regular" collectors car insurance is through Grundy. I was with Hagerty for a while but Grundy was cheaper. As for track days, Hagerty wanted me to list EVERY modification to the car at the time of writing the policy which was a pain in the ass because I have...
I have 3 young kids but I would't try to do this personally. There isn't a 3rd set of LATCH anchors or tethers to accommodate a third row if you are using car seats/boosters that require them still. Also, if the car is spec'd to have 4 seats, you add a 3rd (plus seatbelts), and you get into an...
Insurance Guy,
How do they handle "classic cars"? I was using Lockton for my '93 RX7. I've got a quite a bit into it but if you go by how my local DMV appraises a 30yr old car, it's worth a whopping $1k (if even). If you go by collector/classic value, it's probably closer to 30-40k in the...
I stand corrected. Looks like all aero makes about 200lbf but then you have to account for lift.

When car and driver did their annual lightning lap, they said they turned the best times with the suspension on Sport and not Type R as it was way too stiff and bouncy. I wonder if this caused too much movement in the back?
If I recall the wing makes about 200lb of downforce at 125mph. Not bad...
He’s ok. Bruises and sore but walked away from my chats with him. Tell you what, modern engineering has come a long way. That roof looks very solid for a car the rolled probably 3-5 times.
My FD RX7 would have folded like a tin can and the video might be enough for me not to track it again at...
I connected to my WiFi hotspot and while I get the PIN, I also get the no server connection error. Went through a factory reset and still no luck. Any more ideas?
This 1000000000% the fix. I had the same issues with Waze and wireless carplay just plain sucking. I made this change this morning and WOW. The responsiveness of Car Play was immediately noticeable. Now wireless carplay performs as well as wired carplay in my wife Odyssey....
