Yeah, if you have the CARB FP, you can't load non-CARB tunes on it. You'll get an error message. I tried awhile back, and I recall that's what happened. You can always plug yours into your computer to verify, though.
'23 Si on Hondata 240 CARB. Stock otherwise. +509 tuned miles. Total tuned miles of 3,539. I drove the car in Normal for a couple weeks. It definitely felt more sluggish than when in Sport, but I think it's actually how it felt when it was stock. Glad I tuned!
Somehow this post popped into my head yesterday, and I ordered a 2-pack for my car and my wife’s car. Thanks for posting about this little light! We both love it. It’s simple but really cool and functional.
How long have you been trying? I think when we all started practicing the technique, we all definitely ended up mashing the brake pedal while blipping the throttle. Just takes time and lots of practice and lots of failed attempts. :confused1: I'm by no means a pro at it but can do it and do it...
On long road trips just driving down the highway, mine will lose a bar and then regain it usually when the tank is close to full. Annoyed me for a bit but now I just live with this quirk.
'23 Si on Hondata 240 CARB. Stock otherwise. Added another 870 miles. Total tuned miles of 3,030. Still runs well. If anyone uploads this tune to their Si with Hondata Mode enabled, there is a noticeable difference between Normal and Sport. The extra torque that Hondata programs into Sport...
Resurrecting the thread for anyone researching tunes. '23 Si on Hondata 240 CARB. Stock otherwise. Added 810 miles since my last update. Total tuned miles of 2,160. No issues thus far. Still enjoying it!
That sort of seems to describe the Si, but then the sound feels smoothed over almost like it's an old NES game. It didn't really annoy me, but I was bored one day and decided to unplug the module. No regrets but I will say that in spirited driving through the canyons, it's a bit too quiet now...
OP, did you resolve the issue? I know you're looking for non-Si replies, but something's for sure amiss. '23 Si on the Hondata 240 CARB tune here, and overall MPG is the same as before. I've also reached a best highway MPG of 41 MPG after tuning as documented in my Fuelly log. Hope your...
