Xerocide, any chance you have access to the wiring schematic showing the ceiling light and map lights specifically on a Civic LX hatchback? It would be good to see that schematic and compare to the others since that is the car I have and can run tests on.

Thanks for the reply and information. I did take mine apart and it has 3 wires. I will be testing these wires to see what they do. I'll let you know what I find. One of these wires should be always hot to provide constant power to the lights since they turn on even when the car is shut down...
