With the car starting up fine and the battery being good. That quite possibly could be the culprit. I know I just need to take it to the dealership. I just know if they cant replicate the noise nothing will get done.
I'll also add that it never made the sound before. I first heard it when I had about 4k miles on the car. My wife has even heard it, and asked what it was. Not sure if the push button itself is going bad or something with the ignition switch.
The sound is coming from around the push button. Some where in that area. So that makes me think it's not a fuel pump priming. It's in the dash for sure. I tried getting a video last night. Started it up a few times, and it didn't make the noise. I'll just have to video every start up till it...
So every now and then I'll get a weird noise when hitting the push button start. It last for about a second. Sounds like its coming from the push button itself or in the area of. Kind of like a buzzing sound. I'll try and get a video of this, just wondering if anyone has experienced this before...
I have the Remark tri exhaust, and have nothing but good things to say about it. Quality is top notch, and sounds great! Also, I like the fact that it retains the exhaust valve.
Thank you for the response, and sharing your experience with the Cobb RMM. This sounds right up my alley with what I'm trying to get from a RMM. I was on the fence with the Cobb and PRL RMM, I think you just helped me make up my mind.
Anyone have the Cobb RMM for the FL5? Been looking at upgrading the RMM to get rid of some of the wheel hop. I know a lot of RMM will cause some NVH. Trying to find the best of both worlds. Least amount of NVH, while stopping wheel hop. I know quite a few people are running the PRL RMM, along...
(2025 civic type r) So I just flashed my car this evening, and i'm pleasantly surprised. I chose the 93 octane map, and the butt dyno felt an increase. I have two questions if anyone would like to help me out. First question, is it safe to run the 93 octane map for a while? Like maybe a few...
They did the same to mine when I took it in for the free oil change and tire rotation. They scratched 3 out of the 4. Had to take it back to them for a wheel repairs. They sent it off to a paint shop. They actually did a great job. Can't tell they were ever scratched. After all that, i'll be...
I have the tri tip remark exhaust with front pipe. I love the sound of it. I have yet to do the downpipe. That along with getting tuned is on my to do list. Back to the exhaust though, I honestly have no complaints, and the quality is very nice.
I think i'm finally ready to have the car tuned. I've had my type r for a little over a year now. I have the eventuri intake and turbo inlet pipe, along with the remark exhaust and front pipe. The car has been a lot of fun, but i'm ready for some more power. I've heard this car really wakes up...
