Iām feeling vulnerable right now. That sounds so plausible, but itās not. Please donāt play with my emotions. It literally tracked muddy feet on the glass. Iāve never seen a bird walk on a car⦠let alone walk down the windshield.
What in the spidey bird am I dealing with? Do birds hold grudges...
If thatās how he shows his affection, Iāll pass lol ā¦The epitome of unwanted attention. That meme reminded me of āthe good feathersā in the animainiacs. Good times
Played some golf after work this morningā¦. Hit a birdie. š Hoping, that wasnāt the cause of the poop on the mirror, ācuz ouch.
No better time than the present, to try out the fantik e power washer.
700+ miles in. the new front brake setup is still āsolid.ā Virtually no brake dust and Iāve been putting them through some serious daily paces. Had them cooking on 3 occasions.
This is a winning budget combo IMO.
Update: now 1200 miles deep, still low amounts of brake dust, but itās starting...
Alright.... logged 110+ miles on the 1pc DFC rotors + AKB pads. So far, they're solid with virtually no brake dust. I love the pedal feel; it bites early and effectively. I had 21k on the factory fronts, with some meat left, but I was tired of the brake squeal. Hoping to achieve similar results...
These popped up in my feed earlier this week. Cool to see your review and comparison to RT660's, as I was considering RT660s next.
any experience w/ R888Rs?
edit:
also how are the aspect ratios compared to other brands in the same size?
Theyāre a single pc rotor and blank. If I didnāt shatter my scale, I would have had weight measurements for you guys. Hand check, they are a few lbs heavier, not much but slightly noticeable.
Painted the hats to prevent rust, and did the customizations myself.

In summary, I donāt think any inferior complex's should be formed around perishables. Maybe my comparison was a bit drastic, but at the end of the day, buying a track car to track it, vs parking it, would be the only valid form.
Iām not taking shots at either crowd, I enjoy both.
Literally a month old. Just putting my car back to stock.

Titillation of the vagus nerve
Best part of being a grown up...... I don't care about brands as much as I do functionality. If any country makes it and it's durable, I'll buy it. Would I pay the extra coin for a trusted name brand? Certainly. Some things you just can't cut corners on. Feeling inferior about it? Well, people...
Many pros, that are worth the change. But, to answer your question directly ādepends on driving habits.ā Costing .01c per mile, Iād say thatās a worthy purchase. It costs .15c per mile, just to drive in CA. š¤£
āsameisha.āš¤£ā¦ā¦ Iām not sure. I actually plan on pausing this again. Itās really a distraction from my classic car builds. I hate it and I love it at the same time.
Iām currently using DFC rear rotors + Akebono rear pads. As mentioned, very low brake dust compared to stock. I havenāt noticed any huge braking differences to warrant the switch back. I had 12k miles on stock rears and they were toast. Mostly street/fwy driving, w/ canyon/backroad sprints. Iām...
Thanks EVO... The red is a bit bright, but i call this the playful stage. Where I experiment w/ a style seldom done. I struggle with sameness. Everyone literally builds their car the same, I don't mind pushing that envelope. From day one, this car was always going to be a spoon build for me...
