Thank you roastduck for the update. Hopefully these should wrap up 25 shipments. Almost 9400 CTR made for a model year is a record I was also wrong about no 26 and I'll not predict any Honda strategy anymore. They are completely out of the blue and caught me in surprise all the time. Lol

Finally 26 shipment this "late" of 2026. Looks like same color selections. Some rumor said there will be new color.

I saw a few 94xx vin shown up at dealer websites so I guess another batch arrived last week.

So I wonder what's holding up Honda from releasing 26' earlier. Could it have minor things changed like infotainment system? Vin registration said it's made in Japan so doesn't look like factory shift.

Most common speculation is Japan needs to stop selling or making FL5 by spring 26 due to a Japan noise regulations taking effect and FL5 worldwide are all made in Japan. ITS is made in USA so it doesn't restrict by that and Honda has sold it as 26' since summer seems to match this speculation...

They still haven't registered the 26' VIN and if they do today, it usually needs to wait 3 months so we will see the car in April. It's still possible but seems less likely than a 25' final edition announcement at this point imo.

Thanks roastduck. Looks like there will be another shipment of 500 coming to fill in the gap to vin #9379. Will we hit 10k Vin for 25' but it seems odd to make a 25' car in 2026 lol

All Honda lineup are now 26 except FL5. I think they will announce it IF it's ending based on how they handled it in Europe when it announced the end of type R and the ultimate edition which arrived a month later and that's it.

I agree it may end soon. If they don't register 26 or delay launching 26', it's either they are still working on a major redesign or relocating factory like the Accord or they wouldn't make full year production so they just extend last model year for a few months. They have already made so much...

My guess of safecat is they etch the vin on the muffler. I saw some dealer did that as addon

That's different from the version I googled, for there is no more manual for hatchback excluding type R. I thought I found something interesting worth to share. Maybe I need to wait 2 more years for the limited edition hahah

It's November and MY25 is still incoming to USA. I got curious and downloaded the 26 civic hatchback owner manual and guess what compared to the 25? Almost all "type R" references are gone in 26. For example, Honda LogR is in the index of 25 manual, but not in 26. So are Beverage holder in 25...

My opinion and wild guess would be the end of Europe production gives out more quota for USA since July. Then they may switch the FL5 quota to prelude so they made as much MY25 till end of year and announced a limited edition in the upcoming Japan mobility show.

At vin 7500 and likely more batch, that's not limited production anymore. Duh

Last boat only goes up to vin 6423 arrived early September. So this upper vin 7012 means another batch of at least 500-600 arrived this week at the port.
