  1. CW rear bumper color mismatch - So common! Did you ever notice?

Noticed this on the DE5 for sure. I have the liquid carbon so it's not very noticeable, but on the red, white and blue ones it's pretty easy to spot if you stare at it. I have also noticed this on previous cars as well. I thought it was due to plastic vs. metal.
  2. *The FL5 Track Junkie Thread*

This happened to me on the track one day. Went to speed shop at the track, had brakes bled again, then went out with cold brakes and scrubbed the rotors clean with some hard stops. Hit the track in the morning and issue was gone. It was very disconcerting to say the least. It really felt...
  3. Civic Type R vs. Ford GT

I'll be on Grand Course in November. Last year my best was 3:16. Hoping for significantly better than that this year. Breaking 3:10 is the new goal.
  4. CTR vs Type S

Good one! LOL Not that there's anything wrong with that, LOL. (in my best Jerry Seinfeld voice)
  5. Civic Type R vs. Ford GT

ITS was driven by a different driver, and was running on PS4S instead of Sport cup 2's. Not to mention different day and likely under slightly different conditions. Otherwise they run within 1 second of each other on a 4 mile track. (also the CTR was driven in "comfort mode" so suspension...
  6. CTR vs Type S

Seats and the wing are what it comes down to. My Type S arrived about 6 weeks before my Type R, and I was tired of waiting. Bonus is I got arguably a more exciting car to look at, a better sounding exhaust set up, a better damping module (one which CTR folks praise when they make the switch)...

Looks great! what wheels are those by the way? Specs on wheels?
  8. CIVICXI *NOVICE* Track Thread!

I use Track Addict. It's a phone app for like $10. Just need a good phone mount and you are good to go.
  9. Wheel Alignment

My car is lowered on eibach pro kit and does fit on an alignment rack like this. Also my shop has some 2x8's that they can lay down in front of the ramps so you can have even more clearance. Lastly, my local shop doesn't have the Integra Type S in their computer either. Which reminds me I...

  17. Should i keep my safety net money in savings or refinance my type r!?

Nothing wrong with financing a car, as long as that expense plus housing expense is well within your means from a monthly perspective. You don't want to be house or car poor, or forced to carry other credit card debt. Just my opinion.
  18. Should i keep my safety net money in savings or refinance my type r!?

OK, but real world, you gotta live a little. You could drop dead next year. God forbid. best to put cash in the bank and maybe pay an extra $100-$150 on the car every month. refi if it makes sense of course
