Could be that he bought those wheels and tyres off a Fk8 owner. Specs are pretty standard for Fk8 just downsized to an 18inch wheel. Did the same thing for my car, bought TE37's off an Fk8 and had 255/40/r18 P Zeros on them, tread was good so didn't need to change tyres.

Did you cut the bump stops? Doubt it would make a squeak but I do know many people miss this step. Had mine installed for almost a year now and haven't got any issues.

I think the videos you are watching are PPF removed after 10 years or so. Usually you'd remove and replace PPF after 5 years or so and it defintely does not look like what happens in those videos.

Agreed, I think the biggest part of it is getting the car how you like it as everyone has different preferences. The more comfortable you are, the faster your lap time will be anyway.

If you really care about the car, this is the way to do it. PPF also greatly reducing the clear coat from peeling and on the wing, it is actually quite easy to do yourself if you want to save money.
