$799 for the set
Located in Portland, will meet within a reasonable distance. These wheels are in like-new condition. I am only selling because I sold the Civic. They’re light, they look great, and I would buy them again if I still had the Civic. They are $1200 a set new, so you’re saving $400...
Use your stock wheels for winter wheels and get some nice light and good looking wheels for the rest of the year. I enjoyed my Konig Ampliforms.
Get a Hondata / Ktuner and a mild (250tq) flash, and that's all you need. Enjoy!
It is not my intention to ruffle feathers, but I just wanted to give some perspective on two different buying experiences.
I replaced my '22 Si with a Tesla Model 3 (no, it's not as fun, but it is an amazing daily) and the buying experience was sooo refreshingly easy and pleasant. It was like...
I was able to get mine last December at MSRP with required $800 protection package in Portland OR.
I know this was an amazing deal because I was back at the same dealer a few weeks ago and asked them if they were still selling Si's at MSRP and they said they do $5000 markup on Si's and $10000...
Hello everyone, I sold the Si so I no longer need these pads.
They cost $500 from Carbotech and I'll take $375 shipped for them.
If you are taking your Si to the track, these are the pads you need. In fact right now the only option for 11th gen Si track pads is Carbotech. I blew through my...
Hello all,
Sold my Si so I don't need this anymore. It is unlocked per Hondata's instructions here FlashPro Help and I have attached a photo of the screen showing it is unlocked.
It retails for $595 and I'm willing to let it go for $425 shipped.
IMO this is a must-do upgrade - plug this...
Hello everyone, I sold the Si, so I no longer need this sway bar. It was only on the car for two months. It has a few scuffs from installation but obviously you're never going to see this thing again once you install, lol. This is everything you need to install the bar on your car.
The sway bar...
Incredibly helpful info here @11GenSonicSi, you are a trailblazer for these cars.
Unfortunately I just sold my Si (my situation changed, nothing against the car). Fortunately for others that means I have a full set of unused Carbotech XP10 front/XP8 rear pads. I paid $500 for them, willing to...
Does the Type R have a more track-friendly VSA setting than the base/Si?
Si guys often find they put even more heat and wear into brake pads if they forget to turn off VSA before going on track.
Great to hear you can run 10-15 track days a year at 250tq without any clutch slip. That's a really good sign. Also good to know about the oil leaks, will keep an eye out for that.
I would be surprised if any other car in this thread goes through anywhere near as many hours of wide open...
Thanks! No rubbing. Of course, I am at stock ride height. It's a mild setup, only sticks out 1/2in further than stock.
I'm leaning toward some lowering springs this summer. Spoon or H&R. I'll update if that happens.
Also, 265 is too wide for a 8.5 rim. If you really wanted you could go 245/40/18 on a 8.5 +45 rim and you'd get more sidewall and better MPG, but obviously you're also giving up dry grip and a little steering response.
wow, that's some aggressive offset. It's amazing how much the drop and camber pull in the tops of the wheels. Usually when you see something like 18x9.5 +35 with stock suspension it looks too poke-y, but yours even at 9.5 +18 looks great.
Did you just play with spacers until you had what you...
Very relatable. My first car was also a Miata - I learned how to drive on it, drove it to high school, and put a turbo on it in college. Forward, now with a wife and kid, and I'm getting groceries and doing the daycare shuttle in my Civic Si.
It really is important that your everyday car also...
I have a feeling you're going to get more questions about that sick fitment than the coilovers, lol.
So you might as well post the details now... What's the drop? alignment specs? wheel specs?
