  1. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Went to the shop today and ordered in a bunch of goodies. Hopefully will be able to install them before summer ends.
  2. What in your opinion is the best exhaust for the FL5?

Looking at getting the Fujitsubo exhaust + front pipe (#270-52114 + #610-52115). I noticed that the FP has a slightly larger diameter, just want to make sure if this combo wont cause a CEL on stock tune. The only other mod I have is the PRL intake. Thanks
  3. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for 11th Gen FL5 Civic Type R

Did a quick google and it seems that RT660 runs wider than usual compared to other tires of the same spec. source: Going back to wheel/tire decisions, I do want a bit more meat so I'm considering 275/35/18+45.
  4. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for 11th Gen FL5 Civic Type R

Thanks, Ill stick with 265 in that case
  5. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for 11th Gen FL5 Civic Type R

Honestly #281 looks amazing, might just do 255/40/18+45 (and should have zero issues/rub from the looks of it)
  6. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for 11th Gen FL5 Civic Type R

Thinking of getting a new setup either with 255/40/18 +38 (or 265/40/18+45). Any thoughts on stock height vs H&R springs (most likely will keep stock for now)?
  7. Would the side fender rust from paint chip?

Did the magnet test and it seems like that vent/fender portion is probably aluminum since it didnt stick. Interestingly the front fender stuck (alongside with the doors) which probably means it some kind of steel. Probably just gonna let it be and not even bother with a touch up coating
  8. Would the side fender rust from paint chip?

Hey all, I was installing some mesh for the fender vents and I accidentally scrapped off some paint with my flat head. Not too worried about the aesthetics, but more worried if should do something to prevent potential rust. The question I have is if this panel would even rust and if I have...
  9. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Picked it up from the dealer :headbang:
  10. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Its a different dealership. Atleast Im getting addons with the one Im working with; Carter Honda is a straight up 12k markup with nothing It was also hilarious as the sales tried to play off the trade in as a way to do "tax savings".
  11. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Update for some Vancouver folks. Carter Honda DOES have their CW FL5 as available, but the conditions are pretty bad. They require a 12k trade in and a 3k care package which runs to about 78-80k OTD. Tried saying I didnt have a car to trade in and if we can switch to dealer add-ons, but they...
  12. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

so lame how just south of the border has so many FL5s. Wish we get a bit more allocation.
  13. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Wow, I didnt notice that they had a new one. Going to quickly call them right now. Edit - Unavailable and sales told me its very likely that that will be their last one
  14. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

I still havent signed the papers, and will go back in the coming weeks. Hopefully I can renegotiate but its hard. Any tips?
  15. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Fortunate enough that I dont have to starve myself for this car. But for sure! Going to treat this as a nice toy.
  16. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Ill enjoy it. The CF spoiler was probably something I'd wanted to get at some point and this is the colour I wanted too. Also looking for a new car and its within budget (albeit its an overpriced civic); so timing is very good. However this would be my first new car, so I'm trying to mentally...
  17. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Borderline robbery. But probably the only one in Vancouver I can get right now.
  18. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Yea, Ill most likely take the offer. Hard to turn down a CW (or RR), if it was a SGP probably easier to decline.
