So an update: the one I thought would fit does not, not quite. It's very slightly off. I haven't counted the ridges/ teeth on the lock face vs the key but I bet there's one too many on the key. I'm calling a locksmith. They'll probably have to drill it out, but I hope not.

Well,I think I broke a clip on the console while trying to change the aftermarket shift knob. And whoever changed out the OE knob removed the lock nut, so I didn't even need to pry off the console. Now to find someone with gorilla grip strength that'll overcome loctite...
