I’ve done 3 canyon runs and never had this issue. Some of those runs are pretty extended and ran my tank pretty low.

Full front, mirrors. I did entire roof as the car is parked outside. Also partial on the lower parts of the doors especially the rear quarter panel due to canyon rocks. I also did ppf on the windshield.

I would give it some time and then reflect if you really want to do anything about it at this point. The initial sting is hard and then the mind will reflect.

The throttle mod introduces extra stress and wear to the drivetrain. Over time that stress can be exponentially adverse. I have a friend with a GT3 and his PDK failed, which he blamed on the pedal commander. Porsche covered the replacement but it would have been very very costly.
