Saw an FL5 yesterday with OEM wheels flush with the fenders and it looked amazing. Then I found this thread. Appreciate everyone posting what they did with pics. It seems like 20 front and 25 rear is a touch too much for what I want so I think Im going to try with 15mm Front and 20mm Rear.

IMO doesnt sound that great in that video. I dont get wanting to keep the exhaust valve or not wanting it open all the time. The car is too quiet even without it. I hate drone but I still want to hear it not just when my foot is to the floor. Maybe my hearing is farther gone than I think...

Ive owned civic SIs back in the 80s and 90s and loved them. My last one was an 08 that wasnt fast but was a ton of fun to drive. I imagine the latest Si is the same not the fastest thing out there but fun to drive as a daily. It was disappointing to me that they never pushed it over 200 hp...

Little easier to empty and manipulate than the PRL. Love the quick disconnects for the hoses.

blackstone labs is pretty good, and its easy. Amsoil has a service which uses a different type test for detecting fuel in the oil. When Blackstone says none, amsoil shows you how much. Easy to send in a sample but the interface they use online is a bit cumbersome to navigate...

Rare? do you mean used? You can buy the FK8 spare tire kit at any honda dealer. The fact that ic comes with a new floor with taller foam blocks to raise it over the tire was enough to make me spring for it new.

first oil change at 1000 miles and second at 3200. Copper and Iron significantly lower, Aluminum up but was double the miles. Horizon/Amsoil uses a different test for fuel dilution than blackstone. My car runs short trips during the week and gets exercise on the weekends. Interesting...

Pulled out the PRL catch can and drained it. got about 2-3 tablespoons of oil out after about 3,000 miles

It wont affect performance at all and you will never see it but im guessing it will bother you forever knowing its there and you will think your car is slower because of it so have them send a replacement.
