Thanks for all the feedback guys, picking up a FL5 soon and this was one of the first things I wanted to do along with the side mirrors. Did you guys disconnect the battery when working around the A pillar? Or is it safe to leave it connected?

Sorry if this has been discussed, but for those of you who installed this, are there any obvious vibration noises and does the viewing angle change drastically from the stock mirror? Also, I'm assuming I would be able to use the Dongar adapter for a dash cam, does anyone know which plug type...
