Has anyone complained about lag with an upgraded intercooler? While the abscence of complaints doesn’t mean there isn’t any lag at all, it’s a pretty good indicator that it isn’t noticeable.
As I understand, the 1.5T tuning logic is a torque-based MAP configuration. In this logic the throttle...
Small turbo + small engine + modern tech means that intercooler fill time (and by extension “lag”) is hardly affected. On today’s factory turbo cars, a tune and intercooler are always going to have the biggest bank per buck in power and consistency, respectively. Always.

Well, fill it up and see what happens. If it’s still not quite there, add a single gallon of E85 (to a mostly full tank) and see where it goes. I lived in IL (STL Metro East) for 5-6 years and the gas is meh all around the state.
Mine has consistently sat at .49. 93 oct, no other mods, map slot 3. Even on Ktuner starter maps, I was at .49. It may just be your fuel. Drop a gallon of E85 in if you can.
Yesterday, I ordered my Stage 1 tune and received it within the hour! Keep up that kind of customer service and I’m going to have to buy parts from TSP only.
As for the tune, I’ve seen one person say that it’s similar to the starter maps and, to be fair, his opinion has adjusted some, but it...
I think you were expecting something else from the tune that no one promised.
Yesterday, I placed my order and received the tune file within the hour. I loaded up this morning and from what I can tell there’s a SIGNIFICANT difference on the top end. Yes, the bottom end torque is similar, but no...
