Honestly, it was probably the easiest warranty experience I have ever had. They called me two hours after dropping it off and said they needed to replace the transmission and put me in a loaner.
Hey y’all,
I’m located in Houston, TX and I’m looking to sell my 2022 Civic Touring in Sonic Grey Pearl. I’ve had it since launch day on June 16. It has roughly 6,500 miles on it and I was wondering what you all thought I should ask?
The only reason I’m selling is I’m looking to get an Si now...
They didn’t say exactly, and the final report didn’t have any details. I’m just glad they were able to get a new CVT in quick and replaced. No issues since and it is running great.
Yeah, made me nervous for a while to even gently press the gas on the new one.
My luck with this car so far has been pretty bad. I had someone rear end me two days ago in the car wash….literally, INSIDE the car wash!
It was actually very easy. I pulled off my front driver wheel and wheel well liner in order to get to the intercooler resonator. Once off, there are three bolts holding on the resonator and a hose clamp. The intake resonator was even easier to complete.
It’s definitely everywhere, including Houston, TX. I purchased my Sonic Gray Touring on launch day and paid MSRP. Took some negotiating on my end just to get down to that price. Some dealers were marked up $2K for the same car.
Tightening down coilover bolts one snapped on each side...Yes, I had a torque wrench and properly torqued to 50-55 lb-ft according to the instructions. Luckily I was able to remove the broken studs and replace them with flange head bolts and nuts.
Is it just me or are there no coilover options for the 2022 Civic yet?
Does anyone know if the ones available for the 10th gen will work with the 11th gen?
