When I did the sub, I cut the socket from the factory speaker and soldered it to the new one.

Hope it works out for you @AspecR I don't know how much of a difference it really makes, never A/B tested this. But it certainly cleans up the install and gives a smooth purchase for the new sub. I'd be happy to print/ship rings for a few bucks to cover materials/shipping. Let me know

I published a sub ring model you can print yourself or send me a few bucks and I can send you one. It's only 1/4" thick, can make it deeper, but icehawk knows what he's talking about, not much to be gained with a larger sub in the tiny box. FL5 sub ring 3d print

Finished up rears and sub today. Much improved and will keep me from messing with amps etc for now. I drafted and printed an adapter ring for the sub. Idk if it's totally necessary but here's the file for people to print. Subwoofer adapter ring stl file

Might have been covered, but not seeing it. Does the same Ai HSB524 speaker adaptors fit the rears as well? Ordered the ES-5 and contemplating just reusing the stock like @Yorkman1

In the same boat. Just got a 2025 FL5 at the end of the year, not even 1500 miles on it. Noticed a clicking noise when turning and yesterday the dealership reported back with a failed electronic steering gear box. No ETA

They were tight the first time, I'm sure there's a more graceful way, but I just shoved a screw driver under and pried till they popped. At this point they are still secure but not a pita to pop out.

It's not that bad at all. I haven't had any problems, at least. Acuity provides excellent thorough instructions that might seem a little overwhelming, but there's not much too it. Between shifter parts, stereo upgrades and interior lighting kits, I've had it all torn apart a few times now...

Put the rocker arm in two days ago. Have everything else installed up to this point. Pretty drastic improvements in my opinion. The side to side throw distance is greatly reduced. Much stiffer and solid feeling throws. Almost no play when in gear or neutral. Looking forward to the short throw...
