I bought mine together, mainly out of convenience. Bought the tube for aesthetics. Was surprised with the outcome. I don't have a logger to quantify the benefits, but it feels peppier and the SI testing that they've done bears that out with a few HP improvement.
So your results show stock intercooler is actually raising the temperature of the intake air? Also, are you willing to share the PID codes for the IAT pre and post IC? i'd like to program that into my Torque app and see what mine is running. thanks.
Run 6:
Knock Value 55%
Coolant Temp: 178...
No difference in sound on the intake side. I took short videos of the intake at 3500 RPM, and I can't tell a difference in the sound.
I don't have hard data on the performance improvement. So, I can't really address that. I will run some logs this week and see if there is any differences...
Check out this thread for more detailed explanation. Looks like Murphy is working against them and presence on the Forum was not a top priority. they were focused on product.

I was hoping Fathouse Fabricators in Martinsville (Waverly) was starting to get into these, but they haven't replied to my inquiries as of yet. I may have to just drop by. They do WRX, GTR, Mustangs, etc.
