Damn you jinxed me!! Just did a 3rd gear pull for my custom tune.... locked me out of 4th. Think I may have been shifting at 6k instead of 6.5k. Maybe that’s why I wasn’t getting locked out the other day. Looks like I will be messing with the CDV sometime this week.

$550 seems reasonable, that’s what the shop I called quoted me. $800 seems steep... but I get it. Just get it done and over with. Lol.

Also... I just installed the w1 turbo, so I’m babying it for a good while to get that broken in first before going WOT.

Haven’t drove much with it, just to the gym and back. So like 15 miles. But haven’t felt or seen any issues on my ktuner.

Saaaame. Finally was able to put my cobra on. Man... I LOVE this intake. Keeps temps down a lot more. And feels really smooth.

Yea those are all the mods I have as well. SPEC 2+ with steel flywheel showed up yesterday in the mail. Was going to install that, break it in, then tune. But started second guessing myself if the w1 was safe enough to daily with just the ktuner basemap. Wasn’t sure if I should get a tune before...

Ok awesome! That’s what I wanted to know. Haven’t even gone about 4k while driving with the new turbo yet. Figured it needs a good break in. I know he doesn’t work for TSP, but they were offering their flex fuel kit with a custom tune from him, so I purchased that.

I already installed the w1 the other night. Thinking the ktuner base map was sufficient enough. I’ve already paid for the etune with Derrick, just haven’t had that started yet due to waiting on installing my clutch. You guys think the ktuner basemap is safe enough for the time being? As long as...

I just went with the 2+ anyways. Better safe than sorry the way I look at it. Can’t be much of a difference of feel anyways.
