I'm not shocked EXL is possibly discontinued. The space between the EXL and Touring was so slim after they made honda sensing standard, that's why they cancelled it on the 10gen EXL coupes after the mid model refresh.

Glad to see Aegean blue back, love my Aegean blue coupe. Kind of weird how they EX trim has such a reduced color choice... no black?... sonic gray only on the sport/touring is kind of a shame, while not my favorite, its grown on me over time.

Thanks for providing this info on the trims and exterior/interior colors.

I will be stunned if the EX doesn't come in some kind of black. However, I'm sadly not surprised Sonic Gray is only on the Sport and Touring. The Accord only has it available on those trims too...though the Civic used to have that color on the EX and EX-L Hatchback. It's a shame it's not available on the EX anymore smh.

I'll likely be in for an EX Sedan or Hatchback later this year, so I'm curious to see how the Morning Mist and Meteorite Grey come out.

I feel like Meteorite Gray is the color we saw on the leaked Chinese model or it’s Morning mist because of the blue hue to it.

I did a little Googling... It looks like Honda had offered a color called Morning Mist on the Fit in other parts of the world. It looks like a light blue metallic. Not certain if that's the same color, but I think it is likely.

I bet these are colors just for the sedan...the hatchback is supposed to be released later in the year.
Yes these are for the Sedan since that model comes out soon. But, some colors might appear on the hatchback.

Somebody mentioned the leaked chinese model color was the current cosmic blue metallic but I'm not sure if that's true. However when I looked at that color on the current 10th yeah it looks very similar!

Yea EXL being axed is somewhat expected. Honda's CEO in 2018 when he took over even made the "madness" of so many trims a priority to trim across all the cars. The Accord had 13 different factory build configs as his example and it just drives up cost of manufacturing.

In general also Honda's modern cloth materials for the interiors are quite reasonable and most people don't need leather. Unlike the pre-2010 era carpet grade cloth interiors.

Interesting that they are still keeping the 2.0 engine. I really thought they would make the 1.5T standard across the board. My guess is on the mid-cycle refresh they will axe the 2.0 and make the 1.5T standard.

Yup, adding a manual to the Sport Touring means there’s a market for it on non Si models. Maybe next year.

I do believe the Hybrid drivetrain is standardized on the same 2.0L engine so it is here to stay as long as it sells in the Civic. It probably has some sort of cost/benefit for them.
