I don't know about those figures, but I never pay anywhere near 90 dollars to fill up my Si. We have a small fuel tank, I don't think I could go over 900 kms on a tank either. I've owned mine for 3 weeks and still getting use to mileage and range. That comes out to 6L/100kms which is really good. When premium unleaded costs $ 1.65/litre, x 55 litre tank, youāre looking at $90 to fill and be able to drive 916kms on a tank?!?! Is that right?
Typically costs me under $60 to fill with premium and I will get at most 700-750 kms on a tank. Iirc tank is 55 total, 45 main and 10 reserve. Thatās 10th gen but suspect 11th is similar.I don't know about those figures, but I never pay anywhere near 90 dollars to fill up my Si. Fuel tank capacity from Honda.ca is 46.9L, which is the same as 10th gen. So a full tank can get you ~750km on 100% highway. That comes out to 6L/100kms which is really good. That makes more sense, I filled up today and it cost me around $55 , not a full fill but close. The emergency allocation never comes into play unless one takes it under the empty mark, so cost to fill is going to be based on about 42 litres.Fuel tank capacity from Honda.ca is 46.9L, which is the same as 10th gen. From this thread https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/reserve-gas.12883/, the reserve tank is part of the total 46.9L, not an extra allocation. And it's around 5L or less, not 10L.
I do mostly city and usually get close to 600km a tank or 7.5L/100km based on the trip computer.
Speed, hills, and low temp KILL mileage. Try the run at 65-75 and you'll get 10-15% higher mileage even in cold weather. ACC or CC also helps.Iām not getting anywhere near that good of gas mileage ... I drive at 80-85mph for most of my commute thatās up and down hills...
Iām happy enough with the 32mpg. Still way better than my tuned MK7 GTI.Speed, hills, and low temp KILL mileage. Try the run at 65-75 and you'll get 10-15% higher mileage even in cold weather. ACC or CC also helps.
