Edit: Reverting back to a standard sale; courtesy trade-in opportunity is no longer available.

Details on the car as follows:

Hoping to clear some garage space for a Corvette — thus, I've decided to let this amazing machine go. Reach me at 732 474 73five9 with any questions.

2024 Acura Integra Type-S (DE5) – Platinum White Pearl / Red

VIN: 19UDE5G97RA000798

Odometer: 792 miles (will go up as I'm still driving it)

Location: Northern NJ

Price is firm at $57,500 – this is the exact amount that I am into the car for; if it does not sell, I will be hanging on to it and continuing to enjoy it as a daily driver.

For sale privately by original owner (I am NOT a dealership). I own the car outright and have the clean title in hand.

Car was purchased brand new in August 2023 with 7 miles on the odometer. The car came off the truck at the dealership with this number of miles and was never made available to customers for test drive. Prior to being purchased by me, it was only ever driven by the Acura Master-Technician who performed the PDI (pre-delivery inspection). It still had 7 miles on the odometer the day I bought it. . The only port/factory installed option was alloy wheel-locks. Original window sticker, paperwork, manuals, literature, license plate brackets (unused), etc. are included with the car.

Never drilled for a front plate, never detailed (by request) from the dealership, never been through a commercial car wash. Zero accidents, zero issues whatsoever. I have only ever washed it by hand using premium microfiber towels and products. It is stored in a climate-controlled garage and has never yet been parked outside for even a single evening. The car is in immaculate, flawless condition - there is not a single imperfection inside or out. The wheels are pristine with absolutely zero rash or imperfections.

The car was always brought up to temperature and extreme care was taken to break it in properly; engine RPM was judiciously and kept varied and the transmission was intentionally shifted as much as possible — I am an enthusiast who is OCD about doing things right and I planned on keeping this car as a daily for a LONG time to come. I am also a mature, experienced manual driver that has been driving manual cars, to include daily drivers, for 14 years - please rest assured that the clutch was operated properly and has never been subjected to abuse or misuse. The car has never been tracked, auto-crossed, launched, road-raced, etc.

I personally performed an oil change at 617 miles with Pennzoil Ultra Premium full synthetic. It has NEVER been in the custody of a ham-fisted quick lube or dealership maintenance tech. I firmly believe in oil changes early and often, especially for a new engine going through break-in. Contrary to common misconception, there is no such thing as "Honda break-in oil" - virgin oil analyses of Honda's OEM fill in the FL5 and FK8 Civic Type-R show that the factory oil fill is an unremarkable, standard oil besides for having slightly higher-than-average molybdenum content. Pennzoil Ultra Premium full synthetic is an exceptionally stout oil with a high moly content (even higher than the OEM Honda fill), hence why it was selected for the first oil change. The car has NEVER been worked on besides the oil change – there has obviously been no such need given how new it is and how little miles it has.

I can be reached by phone or text message at 7ven3two – 47Four – 7ven35ive9

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to arrange a purchase.

I am able to help source and coordinate shipping to anywhere in the USA.

Test drives will NOT be permitted to anyone besides a serious buyer with cash/funds in hand – I am happy to drive it and give a ride-along in the passenger seat to any interested buyers.

No solicitation — I do not need help selling this car and am not interested in any consignment arrangements.

Only thing missing is the "seller" and "dealer" is in Nairobi...

and...

I wonder how much the dealer is going to mark up, add accessories, etc.

For anyone who is ACTUALLY interested, please rest assured this is real. Happy to give the name of the salesman I’m working with over PM or text so any interested buyer can verify the details of the deal by calling him/the dealership independently via their publicly advertised phone number to confirm they are abreast of the situation and onboard.

Not sure what the Nigerian-prince angle there is to shoot here… you think I’ve somehow got a GM dealership roped into committing a one-off scam on an Acura somehow? Lmao.

It’s not a typical person to person sale because it’s a courtesy trade-in, but that doesn’t mean it’s not legitimate.

story doesn't match up. Just trade it in straight up to the dealership for the Corvette. You want someone to bail you out of your car loan so you don't lose any money.
It matches up just fine; dealerships do courtesy sales/flow-throughs whatever you want to call them all the time. It ends up working out great for both parties- seller because states where tax credit is offered is still honored but at a private party price vs trade-in, and the buyer gets to work through an actual dealer rather than an individual, also at a private party rate which is generally less than retail.

Where it gets thrown off in this case is that the car is still being offered at higher than MSRP, and the buyer is going to have to pay taxes on that. Securing financing might be tricky too because it's used and still over MSRP, and might not be enough market value data on used ITS. Really the only benefit to a buyer in this situation is getting a car right now without having to wait in line and/or play dealer games.

In any case can't hurt to spread awareness and I'm sure it is a legit deal for someone who wants a PWP-on-red ITS with break in miles right now and can't find one at MSRP. But it is important to note that this car has zero accessories, and is used, at effectively 2k ADM.

GLWS.

The original thread on Integra forums states that he wants to sell it out right to the buyer. In this thread he wants the buyer to buy it from the dealership.

Lmao, fuck off - the car is owned outright, there is no loan. Is it a-typical? Sure. However nothing about this doesn’t “match up” if you read through the thread and have a modicum of reading comprehension ability. You’re not actually interested in buying the car, you’re interested in trying to pick nits and make peanut gallery comments, so I’m not surprised.

The original thread on Integra forums states that he wants to sell it out right to the buyer. In this thread he wants the buyer to buy it from the dealership.
He made another thread on Integraforums too. Circumstances can change- and yes that's exactly what he's trying to do, and anyone in a similar situation would be eager to do the same. The dealership is acting as a proxy in this case, hence why it's called a "courtesy" transaction. There's no other incentive for the dealer to do it as they're not recording profits on this Integra; but if someone buys it then they get a sale in the form of a Corvette from what I'm reading.

It happens a lot, and there's nothing shady going on.

I know it can be frustrating but you're posting this in an open forum, and if you've had an ear to the ground the topic of sellers asking over MSRP for an Integra Type S in particular is an interesting topic. You have to expect people to have opinions; that's kind of the rub with free advertising in forums.

The only question I still have is why a Corvette, and why now? Last I heard it isn't difficult to get a 'vette these days, unless it's a Z06.

The corvette was sold this evening, so the courtesy trade-in deal is moot at this point. Thanks for the interest all!

@optronix Agreed 100%. I don’t mind receiving flak or unintelligible comments, it’s par for the course. Being that it’s an open forum, i’m going to respond to refute it all the same.

You want to get flamed for flipping you came to the right place. You literally came on here only to post this.
Don’t care who bitches and moans about price at all. Do care to clarify that this was a legitimate offer. Carry on
