2025 Hatchback Water Leak Addressed

Hi All,

New to the forum. I apologize if this was addressed prior but for those who are curious about the 2025 hatches leaking and what might have changed, my hatch came with the drain plugs already installed on the inner panel.

This is the same as the TSB 24-110 from back in September of 24 that affected 22 - 24 hatches. Can't say it was from the factory or not but I guess someone is doing their job along the line. Nice to know. Whether or not it actually helps, well that remains to be seen. I haven't had any issues yet. Fingers crossed.

My rivets underneath the hatch mounting bolts seem to be ok for now. They aren't any different from prior years which is a bummer.

Correct. I was just curious if the 2025 model years were fixed or what they did to address the leaking issue. Drain plugs like the TSB issued for the previous model years. The rivets underneath the mounting bolts look the same as in the video. Which is unfortunate. Might hold up, might not.

I would not hesitate to give this door an anti-rust treatment.
