Acuity Shift Boot Collar and ESCO-T6 Shift Knob in Red

Installed the Acutiy shift boot collar and ESCO-T6 Shift knob in red today. I'm not sure I like the looks of the shift knob or not yet. The boot does bunch up around the collar slightly as the collar is considerably smaller in diameter than the stock collar. I may go back to the stock knob and keep the acuity collar. My OEM collar was loose and would not stay attached all the time.

I didn't like my stock collar. It was too tight. It was tough but I got it off once. The second time I tried to take it off and it wasn't budging. So I Did the acuity shift knob collar with the Red accessories knob. I didn't like how it bunched up either so I did the hybrid racing white chicane shift knob with the Red collar and also the overland designs alcantera shift boot. I'm much happier now.

Thanks for posting because I was noticing the hybrid racing shift boot collar seems to be closer to the diameter of the stock collar and would not bunch up. Im thinking of moving to the hybrid racing collar and maxim knob, I prefer a taller shift knob. I really want it in burnt titanium combo but not sure I want to spend $300 on the combo.

I don't know if you can get the collar by itself but if you can, make sure the knob you get has a steel inside bc the collar is magnetic.

Yeah, the Acuity collar is smaller than the OEM collar, I wrapped the barrel of the Acuity collar a few times with some wiring harness tape so it doesn't bunch anymore.

@jdezee overland designs will make a shift boot that fits the acuity Esco collar so it doesn’t bunch up, and I can confirm it works really well, looks and feels great. Just leave him a note in checkout and/or shoot him a message and he will get it right.

The hybrid racing collar was leaps and bounds better than the acuity. I like the stainless weighted knob better also. All around more in line for what I was wanting.

The hybrid racing collar is light years better with fitment and it also uses a thick rubber band for holding the boot on vs zip ties. Just all around better.
