unfortunately, I will be driving my R this winter. I am in Southern Ohio, so not severe weather. I have bought the OEM Forged wheel and still have my stock wheels. So, getting ready to buy off tire rack now. My question is, has anyone used a 265 35r 19 instead of 265 30r 19? and what has been your experience ie: rubbing, speedo, turn radius, ride in general...

Have you considered just running a dedicated winter setup (wheels/tires)? There are reasonably priced 18" wheels out there. Just an option that many people do when they lives in areas that might get snow.

Yeah, i am not opposed to that. I already have the stock wheels, and a set of OEM forged (which I will use in summer) The stock wheel is my intention for winter use. Just curious if I change from 30r to 35r side wall, will it affect ride, turn, rubbing etc?

I have 275/35/19 PS4 all seasons on stock rims and stock suspension. I've got about 3000 miles on the tires so far and no issues whatsoever and the tires themselves are excellent. Only thing I don't like is the fact that it lifts the car a little higher. I'm 99% sure 15mm spacers would be no problem with this setup, but you'd need to do some research if you're lowered.

The 265/35/19 tire is "pretty close" on the speedometer, but at highway speeds (70mph) if you go 5 over the speed limit (speedo indicates 75 mph) you are actually going 8 over (78 mph) which eats into the goodwill from the guys checking your speed

The good news is if you get an @Jester04 tune he can adjust it for you to be within 1-2 mph.

Used this set up last winter in Chicago and currently. Works great. Obviously if conditions suck just drive cautiously, but driving reasonably It never felt dicey. In real world driving I couldn’t tell a speedometer difference and speed traps that show your speed seemed to match my speedometer, so I really wouldn’t worry about it. Send it.

I am running a 255/35/19 winter tire on the OEM wheels. It's a good size that is relatively close to stock. I'd get an all season in this size

265/30s work fine in the snow. Just had a squal out in Pittsburgh that I drove in this morning. I was actually kind of confused at the lack of sliding in the R.

I'm also running this setup......also in Southern Ohio. A slight bit more of sidewall and a slight narrower tire works best for winter. Have had my FL5 for almost two years now and switched the summers off for the AS all year round and haven't looked back. Majority of what we get here is wetness as opposed to snow, so an all season will actually be better during these conditions anyway.
