Any way to preserve settings from hidden diagnostic menu on 7 inch head unit?

I have a ‘22 EX with the 7 inch head unit. I followed instructions someone posted on this forum to get to the diagnostic menu to turn off the EQ for the speakers in order to improve the sound. But whenever I restart the car, the EQ is automatically turned back on and I have to do the same process to turn it off again. Does anyone happen to know a way to permanently keep the EQ off?

Diagnostic Menu:
Turn off audio, press and hold the phone and connect buttons, tap the power button 5 times
