APEXi Exhaust

Picked up my car today after having a few mods installed, including the APEXI exhaust. I can highly recommend this system for anyone looking for a mild and high quality set up. The tone is very deep and refined but it adds some much needed character to the drivetrain experience. The look and fit/finish is spot on as well. To be honest, I was having buyer’s regret before installing because I was afraid it was going to be too unnoticeable vs stock…but I’m pleasantly surprised! Only downside is there's a little highway drone but worth noting it’s a volume based drone vs high resonance.

I also have the Apexi and you have described it perfectly. It also has valve control for those that want it. If you sense some cabin drone, just barely feather the accelerator and be amazed ......... ;-)

I have one in stock that I was going to use for my car, I can sell it to you instead and wait for the next shipment end of March. Brand new in box. We're an Apexi authorized dealer.

I didn’t. Still running the factory front pipe. May add it later if I get the itch to do something else but pretty happy with it as is to be honest .

I’ll try to grab a photo of it later but this clip linked below is a good reference. I recognize it’s an FK8 but the tone and volume is perfectly represented here vs reality. The APEXi factory videos are pretty accurate as well but seems a little louder and less deep in their content.

You don't need the Apexi front pipe per say ......... PRL and RV6 work perfectly. Mine hooked up like butter to the PRL ........... ;-)

I do like the HKS tone too. Aesthetically I wish both the Apexi and HKS were more subdued. But, I guess beggars can’t be choosers.
