The day I picked her up! Had to wear the vintage Honda gear!

Also nice of my season sponsors to have new numbers for me before the car even made it home!

I am thinking it will be classed in BS but as of right now that hasn't been announced. I think if they put it in DS based off the wheel and tire size it would ruin that class.

I've been curious about the BS vs. DS classing myself. I think it's somewhere in between (too much for D but not enough for B), but time will tell.

My build thread is going to look similar to yours; Boost Blue autocrossing and doing TT. Our numbers almost match as well lol (white with a red outline).

I'm excited to see your journey with this!

I think it will be in the noise of BS but maybe not the car. could be super course dependent.

after about two weeks and waiting for it to warm up enough to do it, the coating is done!

I went with kamikaze brand coatings from .esotericcarcare.com, seemed fitting for a Japanese built car :)

Beautiful color... Just followed your IG. (Need to change your bio on that from autocrossing a Camaro to the R!)

Did you notice any blemishes on your forged wheels? I have a couple scratches on my set that just arrived nothing crazy where I would send them back but a bit of a bummer.
Radium is nice stuff I question whether or not you really need a catch can tho on a mostly stock car.

my fk8 had a decent amount in it every other oil change. nothing like my camaro. its more piece of mind. At work we are starting to see a lot of direct injected cars with a heck of a lot of build up on the valves. not that ill keep a car long enough for that to be an issue lol.

Nah, my wheels were perfect!

After talking to a few that autocrossers the new Si last year I decided to talk to brian at karcepts and he was nice enough to build me the larger rear bar he originally offered with with fk8. We both thought with the added tire, improved tires and weight of the new cars that the larger bar would be more useful!
My plan is to probably do one event on the stock bar. I like to race a car once or twice before making some changes.

also I manager to pinch a 295/30/18 re71rs on the apex wheels. This is the closest tire to original diameter for the type r so it should keep the short gearing out of the equation to an extent.

If anyone is interested I will be selling my 285/30/18 re71rs set that I originally ordered.
