Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

I actually didn't mind the orange. a neighbour down the street from me moved in with one and I was surprised how nice it was. I wish Honda would go back to some of their older colours, like the Electron Blue Pearl from the 99-00 Si or Midori from the 96-98 base Civic Hatch.

Back to the present, I was hoping they would make changes to the Type R along side the base/si models. Boost our install allotment and give us Boost Blue!

i saw a 78k CW one listed (showed up on fb) and it was gone when I clicked it.. not sure if someone bought it or just not listed, but I doubht someone bought it, other CTRs are listed around that price and not selling.

Also delusional dealers finally discounted price from 80k to 78k (still dumb as fuck though).

58k was a somewhat reasonable price … especially with how the market is in Canada… ITS price for a FL5…

Thornhill Honda got their second Type R in CW. Customer delivery on Monday.

Maybe it was Pfaff Reserve? They sold a red and a white CTR in the past week. Both were listed close to $80k.

Still radio silence for most of us I assume? I'm curious to see when the '24 civic models are available if there's any change on the availability for the Type R. Maybe we get a bump in inventory lol.

Honda's website just updated with 2024 civic si and 2024 civic trims. Seems like a 500 dollar increase (or more) over 2023 models. The si got rid of the orange for blue. Hopefully more options arise for the 2024 Type R run.

yeah i was also keeping an eye on the 24MY civic to get an idea when the 24MY type r will be coming...i think very likely most of us next in line are getting a 24MY by now, although someone was originally told 24my and ended up with a 23my but i think that's not usual dealer might have made a mistake or they got someone else's allocation because that other dealer wanted more CRVs for example or something

but yeah looks like we are all waiting for fall without a definitive date

Yeah I agree, it looks like a lot of us are going to end up on MY24. My dealer gave me "The we're not sure when the next one is coming" but at least I know it's closer. What to do with that ITS deposit...

i would keep the deposit, it all depends what gets delivered first and then how you feel about which one to get

I got ghosted by my dealer. Radio silent. I'm pretty sure they found people that agreed to higher than 10k markup and trading in an older Type R.

So far 360km in on the ITS since Monday. Really enjoying it. I don't think I have any regrets, but I certainly have no idea what I'm missing without driving a CTR. Sitting in one is not nearly enough to know.

other than the drive modes that are 20% softer than CTR, idk, u r not missing out on much.
