I’ve been spoiled by my 2023 Honda Pilot Trailsport and it’s capless fuel filler port only to be quite disappointed at my first FL5 fill up to see a darn cap on the fuel port.

Has anyone seen, heard, or tried replacing this cap to make it capless?

It isn’t capless because the quarter panels are unique to this car.

I imagine it would be super difficult to swap over a capless setup and not have the emissions system throw a fit.

Capless fuel filler requires different components to work properly. On top of that, the stock ECU wouldn't know what to do even you swapped the necessary components.

I traded in my 2022 Civic sedan for the 2023 CTR, so I went from cap-less to having a cap again. One thing I didn't like about cap-less was having to leave the pump handle inserted for a few seconds after the fuel flow stopped, otherwise, it would drip gas when you pull it out. I don't have to worry about that now.
