CEES Exhaust - Custom fab titanium exhaust

I found a manufacturer of custom, made-to-order, hand-crafted titanium exhausts for Lambos, Porsches, Ferraris, McLarens, etc. They also offer configs specific to the FK8 and FL5. After placing the order on their website, I had to chat with them over WhatsApp to ensure the correct version was constructed. Currently, they are looking at a 30-45 day lead time. Has anyone ever ordered anything like this? Several folks were ordering from Prodrager for the 10th gens, which followed a similar process. They also have downpipes and intake piping.

You made me do some legwork on the Chinese company's hierarchy, and I was able to source the actual manufacturing company.

The exhaust order costs $1600, and freight is $400, so the price is the same across suppliers. However, after doing all this digging, I found that many customization options are available, such as adding a resonator, changing the diameter of the piping, or adding resonated tips.

It's also surprising how many gain comfort patronizing a shop because they work on "high end" cars. That's not a proxy for good service and/or a good product. Your due diligence should not change just because Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens, and Rimacs are always at the shop.

Wouldn't touch that exhaust. It's never a good idea to get bootleg parts in order to save a buck.
You can buy a Tomei for the same money or less. Better customer service tried and true company history. No child slave building the parts.

It's made. But I'm getting different titanium tips (curved edge, vs open can). Now to wait on freight and customs.

The exhaust will be held together with stainless sleeve clamps, which are not the worst option. Titanium V clamps cost about $300 a piece, so I can't complain.

The package has arrived at the regional distribution center at a Chinese port. Getting it processed, loaded on a ship, and sailed to an American port can take up to 5-7 days, and local customs can turn it over in 12 hours on arrival at the port, or it could take 45 days. I'm crossing my fingers. 2-5 ground delivery after that.

The valve plugs into the existing system but includes a remote for manually opening the valve. They didn't include a battery, so it wouldn't require special labels to get through customs clearance and potentially get held up for a stupid 2032 button battery.

Interesting - they transported by plane, not ship, so it's already in Los Angeles.

The anticipation is ... aggressive.

The exhaust arrived relatively unscathed. One of the tip mounting tubes has some mild deformation, but it shouldn't affect the ability to mount the tips. Otherwise, it is in flawless condition. It was well packaged, with 5-6 insulation layers per piece, and then sealed in plastic. The container has metal supporting corners, and the box has expanding foam bags to fill the gaps and protect the product. It's about as ideal packaging as you could expect.

It will need a proper towel down, and the tips need polishing. The tips are stainless, and hilariously, the clamps are also stainless and heavier than the whole exhaust. It still smells of the manufacturing plant, fresh welds, and expanding foam.

They're using the same valve kit, unlabeled, as what comes in the Valvetronic kit, so I'm wondering who the actual manufacturer is... https://valvetronic.com/products/el...95556&pr_ref_pid=7274243588132&pr_seq=uniform

I'm also curious if I can reuse factory electronic hookups or if I'll need to do something annoying to run this replacement manual valve kit. I'd like to keep the factory behavior. Won't know until I get it lifted tomorrow morning.
