Civic Si Lowering Springs Eibach vs Swift

Hello all,

Planning out my next batch of mods for my 2022 Si. After more suspension performance.

For springs, I am between Eibach Pro Kit and Swift Spec-R.

Daily the car. Currently have 18x9 (maybe it's 8.5) Enkei T6R +35, 20mm spacers and it is flush. Want to make sure not too low where it rubs.

Will do rear camber arms too at the same time. I have seen Eibach and White line.

Any feedback on the two springs on the 11th gen? What about the camber arms? Thank you!!

I have the Swift set and they are very good for a lowering spring handling wise.
I don't have any experience with Eibach springs.
Keep in mind that lowering springs aren't really matched with the stock shocks and they can be unpredictable when close to the limits because they completely wreck the roll centre. I don't much care for the lowered look and from a handling POV I'd live it stock if I was to do it again.
What are the rates for the Eibachs?

The ride is very good for a lowering spring. Also the handling is the best of the ones I've tried in normal or spirited driving. Less body roll, less dive under braking and so on. Lower COG is definitely helping in these conditions.
Unfortunately lowering the COG changes suspension geometry and that results in more body roll, noticeable especially at higher loads.
When pushed really hard, especially at high speeds their response is not what one would expect based on more normal driving.

I'm running 18x9.5 +38 on Swift Springs, I've quite enjoyed these springs, its the right amount of stiffness I'm looking for. I think it needs a sway bar as well for when its turning.

How hard have you pushed the car in curves?

Unfortunately, its not flushed theres definitely some poke, but its not much and you can't tell unless you really come up close and look from the side. But theres no rubbing, I'm running 255/40R18 tires.

I haven't really pushed this car that hard, but for some aggressive street driving, I have a lot of confidence in the corners. That being said the tires I'm running are Continental DWS06+ 255/40R18 and they're very grippy.

I have Swifts on mine and I'm running the SPC rear camber arms (which is what the HPD team actually uses on their Civic SI autoX cars). I was able to get the rear camber back to about -1.9 which is technically within factory spec for these cars.

As for the ride quality, I think it's great! It's maybe ~10-20% stiffer than factory. Car feels very settled and doesn't clunk or anything. In a few weeks I'll get to try them along with my new wheel and tire setup (Rays 57NR 18x8.5 +45mm and Continental ECS02 245/40/18) at autocross so maybe I'll come back to this post to comment on the change in handling.

I do think I need to de-torque and re-torque everything next time I have my wheels off because I do hear a very slight squeaking noise when I turn all the way to the left. Nothing when I go full lock turning right, but a very slight *eeerrrrrrk* when I full lock left. Almost like tires rubbing on concrete

IIRC they use a one-off prototype coilover set, the supplier of which I'm blanking on right now. Nothing that's currently available to the public, unfortunately, although I think the plan is to sell it retail once the kinks are worked out.

I know one of the members of the HPD team is on this forum. If you're able to find the guy, you could ask him!
