Oups!
In addition to needing grease, I read that there may be a manufacturing issue with the worm gear spring. I suspect the grease issue is perhaps the more widespread problem and the worm gear spring only affects certain models built within a certain period…but that’s just a guess. All good. Surprised it's still an issue honestly. I figured they had it resolved at this point. I'm guessing there missing greasing them from the verbage of it.

Read below. @DeVo posted the bulletin. We’re talking about the steering problem which has to do with the steering gear box (not the transmission).Mine still has second gear grinding if, I shift to fast.. I'll bring it up again to them. I'm sitting at 4.5k miles now. Just bought it five to six months ago now.
I know, thank you. Just saying I have the second gear grind as well is all. Have since I bought it.Read below. @DeVo posted the bulletin. We’re talking about the steering problem which has to do with the steering gear box (not the transmission).
I was not saying for them to do it. I was saying to do the install and then bring to the dealer for the recall and subsequent alignment.I don’t think I’d trust the dealer with that
