1530´s flow around 1435 IIRC. I did a bench test on stock, 1330s and 14xx and I have all the data on them on multiple pressures and multiple pulsewidths with different test fluids. and it never showed anywhere near 15xx

Publish the findings. That way I can get my money back for false advertising lmfao 🤣

Weren't they originally listed as 1450s? I wonder if it's the more efficient spray pattern that playing a role in the calculation.

I can´t publish all the data but I can share some stuff once I find the papers. The person who ordered the test owns the data at this point.

The spray pattern is very good because it is an OEM injector with 2 additional holes in it. It´s done properly and precisely. I examined it under a microscope and it is very well done. I´d say it was done using EDMbut I´m not sure. The flow was very similar also across all 4 injectors of the 14xx set.

The 1330´s are a repurposed injector originally from another platform. I can´t remember what is the original application (could be ford 3.5 ecoboost but I´m not sure I have to check my papers) but even if I could I would not reccomend them since the atomization is good on the bench but the spray pattern is very different from stock and this is never a good thing on DI.

I didn´t test XDI parts because I didn´t have the time at the moment and now the timing is bad for me but I can say that Uwe (the guy behind the company) came from Bosch Motorsport and I had many people there say great things about his knowledge on everything DI related so I would be more inclined to believe that people who experienced problems most likely had bad tuning.

A cool thing about injector development is that it is very hard to simulate how evaporation happens inside the combustion chamber so a great part of developpping injectors is making half a dozen different injectors and putting them to test to find the best one.

Another thing to add is that the k20c1 combustion chamber seems very efficient at atomizing the fuel into the air charge when comapred to EA888 engines for example. This makes using big ass DI injectors a reality that is not possible into many other modern egines. Look at the numbers John Pierro has made using DI only, it´s crazy.

14xx´s

1330´s

According to my tests:

OEM 1031cc
Hondata 1330 1232cc
Hondata 1530 1447cc

I would like to add that I am just sharing this for general knowledge and even though I disagree with the injector flow numbers shared by Hondata, the 1530´s or 14xx whatever, are still my favorite injector for this platform. I run them on my personal car as well as the Hondata HPFP because I know what kind of pump it is and I know it´s the most reliable option.

What's the consensus on max power possible with 93?

RV6 R660AS w/ cf inlet
Prl HVI race
Full Race hpfp
Hondata 1530cc injectors
Ported head with O ring
Arp studs
Ported Intake Manifold
Hondata FlashPro
HKS intercooler
RV6 front pipe
Miltek 200 cell downpipe
Stock exhaust
Is DW300 needed?

My research led me to a conclusion that fuel is my limiting factor at this stage. My builder also says the same but unsure if we could crack 500hp. Jester adviced me that Hondata Canflex can yield me 500++ even with E20.

Thank you all

Wow. You are the first person it say that it will reach 1000hp. How is that possible? Would it get to 1200++ with Ethanol?
We are going straight to nitromethane and send this bitch. Ethanol is for pussy's

The main issue is that the octane of pump gas will limit you in your quest for 500whp on pump gas. Once ethanol comes into the mix it helps cool the cylinder and it is more knock resistant. The full race hpfp and Hondata 1530cc injectors are the combo with the most headroom for fuel with good street manners.
