I have the module now, but would the dealer potentially use this to dq me on warranty work if I had an issue?

Separately, I want to install the ITS suspension module but have heard it also effects the way the car's steering feels in r mode. I love the way the steering feels in R mode as is, and was wondering if anyone missed the Type R original steering feel so much that they reinstalled the type R suspension module after trying the ITS one.

On the first point, it's highly unlikely the dealership would ever know you had it. I wouldn't think twice about it.

On the second item, your best bet is to try it out for yourself. If you're not sold on keeping it, you'll be able to offload it in short order and not lose much money. Doubtful the perspectives will be all that helpful as these subtleties tend to be subjective. I've heard a range of accounts from it's a waste of time swapping the modules to it's a game changer. Now, how could both things be true?

I'm not a very skilled or experienced driver. I noticed a very slight loss of steering sharpness across all modes using the ITS module, but not enough that I couldn't adapt to very easily. The total amount of steering feedback didn't change.

I have the module, but haven't installed it as I have grown to appreciate the bounciness of the CTR. I have a better appreciation of what the lead engineer was trying to accomplish. I have also driven the ITS a few times and yes it is more compliant, but CTR feels more untamed because of the suspension tuning. And I like that. The module swap is very easy to do so you should give it a try for a month and see if you prefer it. I am sure in colder climates where the roads are rougher, the ITS module is much appreciated.

There's a good video by Savagegeese where they talk about the difference between the ITS and Type R. The guy who owns the Type R said, you won't notice the difference in the steering until you pass 8/10s. Then the Type R tuning is preferred with respect to the steering feedback.

. Watch from the 31:00 minute mark and you will hear them discuss the difference in suspension characteristics.

Same here. Comfort is fine for me in daily mode and I'll even run +R when doing some spirited driving on good roads. I think if you have been recently driving a lowered car or something that sporty but older you'll be fine with the CTR module. If you're used to maybe a VW/german suspension you might like the ITS more.

The R in comfort with the its module is better on the highway. If I had any commuting this could make a difference.

I mainly want +r mode to be functional on a track and not bounce off.

I have the ITS module.

I set up individual mode to be comfort suspension and steering, rest left as for +R.

I am still breaking it in, so no hard driving yet

I have switched to +R several times, surface, highway and some twisties, but always switched back to Individual/comfort after a short while...

+R even with the ITS module is still fairly stiff/harsh, just a tad bit softer than my recollection of the CTR module (I did the swap the first weekend I had the car)

my swap only took few minutes, so I guess if you ever want/need the CTR module for a track weekend, it should be a fast and easy swap.

So I have the ITS module, never actually got around to installing it and it’s collecting dust in my garage. Reason being, I’m currently running 18” wheels with bigger side wall (275/35) to compensate for the smaller wheel. I felt like it was definitely a step up in comfort without installing the module, despite having Eibach’s Sportline kit with a more aggressive spring rate.

Has anyone installed the ITS module while running 18” wheels? Extra comfort is always welcomed for daily driving. But is there such thing as too much comfort?

I still have my OEM 19” wheels and I feel like the ITS module would be a very good combination with them or similar sized wheels instead.

I have 18s. On the highway the module is very nice. Much less high frequency bumps and hard impacts are minimized. Around town I normally run sport. I like having the option for some comfort on the highway and a kind of useable R mode although I haven't messed with it much.
